Back to the Future was first released in 1985. The second installment of the saga was released four years later, in 1989, we got to see a glimpse how the world might look in 2015. Back then, it was strange and impossible to imagine our world will develop as much. Yes, Back to the Future 2 missed on some of its predictions.

But it is always fun to imagine how the world might develop. Especially with the technology we have today, it is a scary thought. Who knows how more advanced our society will become?

With that being said, BBC examines how our world will look in 2050. Can you imagine it? According to statistics, by 2050, there will be 9 billion people on the planet. At the moment, there are 7 billion. We will consume even more resources.

All of that will lead to an even more technologically complex life. How our cities will look? We are already starting to adapt with green initiatives and similar changes. That being said, take a look at what the folks at BBC predict for the future.
