FAQ DocumentaryTube

Video & Technical Support

I'm trying to watch a video but I'm getting an error message

The likelihood is that we've had to remove the documentary due to a copyright complaint. Whilst most documentaries are publicly available, sometimes creators sell the rights of their film to other companies at a later date... Some of these companies choose to stop publicly broadcasting their film.

Vides are not playing correctly or are freezing

It could be an issue with your computer or your browser. We recommend firstly trying out a different internet browser if this problem occurs (Firefox, Chrome or Internet Explorer). If the problem persists, please contact us and we'll do our best to find a fix.

I shared / uploaded a video to DocumentaryTube but it hasn't yet been published. Why?

Fear not! This simply means that the video you shared has not been checked and verified by one of our editorial team. Provided the video is not spam, there's a 99.9% likelihood it'll be published within the next 12 hours.
