For some people, Che Guevara was a hero. For others, he was a monster. Secretly, he wanted to start a World War III, and the Americans and CIA wanted to kill him. His death is still shrouded in mystery, and he was buried in an unmarked grave. Today, he is a legend.

Che Guevara started his career as an Argentinian doctor. He joined Castro in Mexico in 1954, and for the next few years, he served in the cause for the Cuban Revolution. Following the Revolution, he served as president of the national bank and minister of industry.

By the end of his work with the Cuban government, Che changed, becoming more of a guerilla warrior, and less of a formal representative of the government. He strongly opposed the Soviet Union and the Soviet bureaucracy.

He first started guerilla forces in Congo in 1965, followed by his camps in Bolivia. He was later captured in Bolivia and killed. His theory of primacy of military struggle, his tactics of guerilla warfare and theories remain one of the most popular military tactics to this day. The documentary tries to explain both sides of his story, the good, and the bad.
