George Hutchings is a 45 year old man suffering from Charcot-Marie-Tooth Neuropathy, a muscle and sensation degeneration disease that cannot be cured, and will eventually put George into a wheelchair.
But George is not giving up. For years, he has been using cannabis as a medicine. The problem is, cannabis is not legalized, not even as medicine in the United Kingdom. Therefore, George must find other ways to get his medicine.
“I wake up in the morning, make a cup of coffee, say morning to the kids before they go to school, then have a little marijuana cigarette, and after that, the day is as it comes”. In the last five years, George feels his medicine has been taken away from him, because he has to obtain it on the streets, where he has been treated like a criminal.
Smoking marijuana has given George fantastic and amazing results in symptoms relief. George has been trying to get marijuana legal in the United Kingdom for several years. In 2015, he published a video on YouTube as a plea for cannabis.
This time, in this short video, George tries to test the limits of the law in the United Kingdom. He travel to Amsterdam, where marijuana is legal and obtains 60 grams. He then tries to import his “medicine” back, declaring the “drug” as medication to customs. Will he make it? Or not?
George is not the only one. Thousands of individuals not only in the United Kingdom, but in the world use marijuana for medical and symptom relief. When will they get their rights to medication?
