Studio 54 can often be described as Sodom and Gomorra. The club became famous the best place to be for having fun and partying in the late 1970s.

Everything started in 1976, when CBS began marketing the building. Various parties in the art and fashion world expressed interested in converting it into a night club, and that happened in 1977, as the theater was transformed into a night club called Studio 54.

Ian Schrager and Steve Rubbell were the co-owners and co-founders, with Jack Dushey as financial backer.

At the peak of disco dancing and music trend, Studio 54 created unique dance club that became famous for its celebrity guest lists, restrictive and subjective entry policies, and open club drug use.
