One Inch Punch - Bruce Lee

The one inch punch uses explosive power to generate tremendous amount of impact force at extremely close distances. The one inch punch was popularized by Bruce Lee, who famously practiced the same punch for hours, days, and years.

The punching exercise is performed at a distance of 0-6 inches (0-15cm). The punch is designed to improve punching power and technique.

The punch is still very much popular nowadays. The documentary on the most popular punch in martial arts history focuses on interviews with Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do instructors.
