According to legends, around 12,000 years ago, the Earth’s crust shifted, displacing the continent that became Antarctica from a location much further north than it is today. Atlantis was Antarctica.
Atlantis was a rich island whose powerful princes conquered many of the lands of the Mediterranean until they were finally defeated by the Athenians and the latter’s allies.
We have always been fascinated with ancient civilizations. This documentary shows evidence of civilizations lost for centuries under the waves.
From the mysterious underwater pyramids off the coast of Japan to the fabled city of Atlantis itself. The documentary was made using cutting-edge graphics that reveal what is lying on the seafloor and insight from the world’s top marine archeologists.
