Do you recall the last time you woke up without an alarm clock, and you felt refreshed? Do you remember when you woke up without needing caffeine right up? If you answered with “No”, you are not alone. The fact of the matter is that two thirds of adults fail to reach the recommended 8 hours of sleep at night.

Sleep scientist Matthew Walker talks about our culture of disregarding a good night’s rest. And how we can improve it. Moderate lack of sleep leads to memory loss, reduced learning, higher suicide rates and much more health issues.

It is time we reclaim our right to a full night of sleep. And we can do that in a number of ways. Walker talks about the ways we can improve our sleep, including sleeping in cooler temperament and schedule regularity.
