"Hackers take on the big boys… Anonymous nameless faces have a major impact on how the internet is used and wish to show that they wish the freedom of speech, secifically on the internet.

This is a message which has been promoted for many years and for many reasons but this is just the next stage in the political movement front…the “Anonymous” group may be faceless and nameless but of course they do have a massive influence in the days of the internet dominance.

The hacker culture stemmed from way before the computer revolution and was really just a series of pranks…now they are making their own statement in all areas from airport security to banking conglomerates.

Anonymous grew from another site 4chan and moved to a site called “b” where people express themselves without ANY restriction whatsoever…but could be deemed disgusting dependent upon your viewpoint. You need to watch it with an open mind but there are loads of rubbish stuff until you come across an interesting thread. Here you are introduced to “Trolling” where someone will simply try to actively wreck and irritate for apparently no reason…the key reason was to offend.

Tom Cruise and Scientology was involved and discussed and the “anonymous” group started introducing videos to the web when there were massive moves to prevent this happening…there is a protracted discussion around this area. This group simply rises to any challenge…and they did when they took on the Church of Scientology.

To maintain their anonymity in real life they have used the Guy Fawkes mask as used in V for Vendetta. The demonstrations around the world amounted to thousands in different capitals.

FBI involvement is focused on and the realisation that they could end in jail was enlightening….one of the members received a year in prison.

Wikileaks features in this documentary as do the activities within Egypt.

Anonymous managed to disrupt Sony playstation data and showed the power that they had. Lulsecurity seems to have taken over from Anoymous by hacking government and national sites. Many of the Anonymous group feel proud that they have had an impact upon world democracy…there have been mistakes and debatable techniques but the group has aired it’s opinion.

Your opinion matters."
