Nowadays, Wimbledon is considered the most prestigious tennis event in the year. The Grand Slam has a long and storied tradition.

Easily recognizable by the white outwear athletes must wear, Wimbledon is much more than that. The early history of the event starts in the pre-modern tennis era.

This documentary is just one of the four parts explaining the Spirit of Wimbledon. The first part focuses on the period between 1877 and 1939.

With legends such as Suzanne Lenglen, the documentary is one of the best things you can watch regarding the most prestigious tennis event ever.
