The next frontier is not space, but drones. That is the next field in which armies around the world will try to outsmart and outdo each other.

The Kalashnikov Group, Russian defense corporation, has produced a small weaponized unmanned aerial vehicle called KUB-BLA. The vehicle explodes on impact like an unmanned miniature kamikaze aircraft.

And the drone has finally passed its first trial. It was shown during the IDEX 2019 trade show in Abu Dhabi. This drone has “hidden launch” capabilities, range of 40 miles, and is difficult to detect. Details are unclear whether Kremlin ordered the drone into production.

Israel has a similar drone called the Harpy. The U.S. Air Force is engineering its own drone that could target enemy radar sites. With that in mind, what is next for the “drone wars”? We can only wait to find out.
