Reel Bad Arabs: How Hollywood Vilifies a People is a narrative film coordinated by Sut Jhally and created by Media Education Foundation in 2006. This film is an augmentation of the book of that name by Jack Shaheen which also breaks down how Hollywood undermines or controls the picture of Arabs.

Jack Shaheen dissects a long arrangement of "disparaging" pictures of Arabs through his presentation of different scenes from distinctive American films which he has concentrated on. He contends that this picture is portrayed by indicating Arabs either as outlaws or as a savage, roaming race, or shows Arab ladies as shallow paunch lovers of the dance floor serving shrewdness, guileless, and avaricious Arab sheiks.

Most vital is the picture of the rifle in the hands of Arab "terrorists". The film then endeavor to clarify the inspirations driving these generalizations about Arabs, and their advancement at key focuses in American history, and in addition why it is so imperative today.

The documentary was released in Washington on June 8th 2007 and after that in Los Angeles on June 20th 2007. The run time of the film is 50 minutes, with Arabic and English subtitles. Before long, the film was screened in more than twelve of worldwide film festivals between the years 2006 and 2009. The budget of this documentary was $100,000.
