Pooh: The Derrick Rose Story

Derrick Rose is a fascinating NBA player. The American professional basketball player was drafted by the Chicago Bulls. He played seven full seasons for the Bulls, becoming only the third player in Bulls history to average 25 points for one season.
On May 3, 2011, Rose became the youngest MVP in NBA history at 22 years and 211 days. He edged out Wes Unseld who won the MVP at the age of 23 years and 10 days. During his MVP season, Derrick averaged 25 points, 7.7 assists, 1 steals, 4.1 rebounds, 44.5% while leading the Bulls to the first seat in the East.
His team won 62 games that season, but lost to the Miami Heat in the Conference Finals. His career is certainly one of the all-time “what ifs” in NBA history. He is the most fascinating HOF case.
If he doesn’t get in the Hall of Fame, Rose will be the first league MVP not to make the hall. On pure resume and MVP award aside, he is not Hall of Fame worthy.
