Adolf Hitler was an Austrian-born German politician who was the dictator of Germany from 1933 until his death in 1945. He rose to power as the leader of the Nazi Party, becoming the chancellor in 1933 and then assuming the title of Führer und Reichskanzler in 1934.
He is one of the most well-known and reviled figures in history. As the leader of Nazi Germany, he orchestrated both World War II and the Holocaust, leading to the deaths of more than 40,000,000 people.
From 1936, Hitler's personal physician Dr Theodor Morell remained at his side, handing out dubious treatments, up to 8 different medications daily, including one containing strychnine. Did Morell try to poison his employer?
Was Hitler well enough to lead Germany? American psychologist Nassir Ghaemi has doubts. This documentary gives an exclusive and surprising insight into a previously unknown side of Hitler.
