With their six-foot jaw and nasty disposition, the mosasaurs dined on ginat sharks and plesiosaurs. They had an extra set of ten teeth on the roof of their mouth. This ensured that when the mosasaur sunk its teeth into the prey, the only way for it go was down its gullet.
