Widely regarded as one of the greatest, if not the greatest player in the history of snooker, Ronnie O’Sullivan has earned the nickname Rocket. By his fellow professionals and commentators, he is described as a genius.
Ronnie is 42 year old, and has been an English professional snooker player for several years. He holds some of the most impressive records.
For starters, he holds the record for most maximums in the professional game with 13, just ahead of Stephen Hendry who has 13. Sullivan also holds the record for most century breaks scored in an official tournament play with over 900 (948 to be exact). Hendry, has 775 centuries over the course of his career.
And the reason why he is called the Rocket is because he is fast in finishing his games. He holds the record for fastest 147. He made that record when he made a maximum 147 break in five minutes and 20 seconds at the 1997 World Championship. He averaged 8.8 seconds per shot.
This documentary features an interview with the greatest player in snooker history.
