What makes a pencil line become a character? In 2003, Disney released “Finding Nemo”, a movie that completely changed the way animated movies were made.

After release of the movie, broadcaster Alan Yentob celebrated the phenomena of the animated feature film on his arts show “Imagine”. He wanted to evaluate the argument set by Pixar’s Toy Story, of whether there was a future for traditional animated techniques in the age of computer and digital imaging.

The episode is the main reason why so many people take animation more seriously nowadays. Nowadays, animation is one of the main features of movies, and not just animated movies.

With that in mind, take a look into a feature that many old-school animators still love.
