Marino Morikawa is a special person. He used his PhD degree to clean his childhood lake. When he came back to the Cascajo wetlands in 2010, his father told him that they were contaminated and that they were about to be capped.
At the time, Marino worked at the Tsukuba University laboratories in Japan. But he decided to fly back to Peru to see the lake with his own eyes.
