Steroids are a man-made version of chemicals, known as hormones. Our body produces hormones naturally. But steroids are designed to act like hormones to reduce inflammation

Corticosteroids are also part of steroids. There are some anabolic steroids used by bodybuilders and athletes.

With steroids, there is a huge risk and reward dilemma. Should you take? Or should you not? This documentary tries to answer some of the questions you have.

When taken in higher than the amount the body produces, steroids can reduce redness and swelling. But the side effects of steroids include difficulty sleeping, high blood pressure, acne, increased appetite, weight gain, and much more.
