Marion Hugh "Suge" Knight Jr. is an American former music executive and the co-founder and CEO of Death Row Records, who was a central figure in gangsta rap's catapult to massive commercialization.
The famous former CEO of Death Row Records was instrumental in bringing gangster rap to the mainstream in the 1990s.
Many artists made a career thanks to the Death Row. But Dr. Dre was the first one to start it. The American rapper, audio engineer, record producer, and businessman, was the co-owner and co-founder of Death Row Records.
This documentary takes a look at how Suge and Dre partnered to change hip-hop in the 1990s.
