Bernard Arnault is France’s richest man and the mastermind behind the world’s biggest luxury group, LVMH. But even he had his doubters early on. This documentary takes a look at the early life of Bernard and his rise to success.
Today, his net worth is close to $182 million. Born in 1949 in France, he is a businessman famous as the chairman and CEO of the French conglomerate, LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA, the largest luxury-products company in the world.
Arnault started his career working for his father’s manufacturing company. Five years into the position, he convinced his father to liquidate the construction division and enter the real estate market.
Under the name Ferinel, the new company developed specialty holiday accommodations. And now, Bernard has his own Island, Indigo Island located in the Bahamas.
