In the past several days, we’ve seen the Amazon rainforest burn. And up until lately, the awareness of why it is so important was almost non-existent.

After 15 or 16 days of constant burning, people all around the world began reacting to the news. The Amazon rainforest is called “lungs of our planet”.

And there is a good reason for it. The Amazon rainforest produces more than 20% of the total oxygen on Earth.

Not only that, the rainforest protects us from high temperature, and much more. This documentary explains in a simple language why we need to protect the Amazon. And do it as fast as possible.
