There are more micro organisms or microbes in our human body than they are people on the planet. However we are oblivious of their world except when there is disease.
This film does an exploration of these ubiquitous beings through a narrator. The narrator first meets people working in the specialized field of Microbiology. The Microbiologists give her a thorough overview, including the history of disease and treatment, and further use in food and industry.
Overawed by the learning, the narrator goes out to the streets to find the perception of common people to microbes in their daily lives. Disillusioned by the lack of reverence, she sits down to visualize the history, life and times of microbes vis-a-vis humans through a poetic montage.
