We’ve all heard the term “International Space Station” once. The ISS is something that we hear regularly, as the space station is the latest project by NASA. It was first launched into the orbit in 1998, and by now, it is the largest artificial body in orbit.

The ISS can be seen from the Earth with naked eye. Currently, there are six crew members. The station won’t stay for long in space, as in 2015, NASA and Roscosmos agreed on a contract to develop new space station to replace the existing one.

But how exactly that the Space Station works? Serving as a microgravity and space environment research laboratory, the ISS is the place where crew members conduct experiments in different fields, including human biology, astronomy, physics, meteorology, biology and many other fields.

The documentary explores exactly the ways the ISS works, and how we, as humanity, benefit from it.
