Nowadays, the Holocaust is a controversial theme. Some people believe it happened, some still deny it, despite the numerous videos, museums and articles confirming its existence. There were even false emails circulating among British teachers and schools that the Holocaust should be removed from the curriculum because it offended Muslim students.

The Nazi death camps were first established in 1933, from the moment Hitler came to power. The camps grow as Hitler’s power rose, and by the World War II, there were 100 camps divided into two categories: concentration and death camps. The first ones were used for slave labor, while the death camps were used for systematic extermination of Jews, homosexuals, Gypsies and others.

From 1941 to 1945, according to some data, almost 6 million Jews were executed in the death camps, along with 2 million Soviet POWs, 2 million Ethnic Poles and others. The execution and the genocide were carried out in stages, the last one called “Final Solution to the Jewish Question”.

The documentary takes you inside the death camps, with footage that has been approved for viewing.  An exclusive look into the camps brings emotions to the heart. The Death Camps are one of the biggest mysteries of the World War II. Despite everyone knowing they existed, few people have seen them. The documentary is filmed thanks to discovery by American soldiers who are taking the patients to hospitals.
