For those that have survived a traumatic injury and surgery, we can easily relate to someone in the same situation. It is not easy to wake up one day and realize you cannot do the simple things you enjoyed so much up to this point.
Steve Pearson can easily relate to that. Arthritis left him barely able to walk. He had to cope with the fact he cannot do his daily hobby of spending up to 24 hours running up the hills and mountains of the north of England.
Pearson had to cope with the loss of his youthful hobby. But that was up until he got a double hip replacement. The surgery gave him back the use of his legs. And despite his doctor’s warnings, Steve wanted to run.

The documentary follows Steve on one of his runs and journey. The movie shows Steve’s passion for running and the natural world in his own back garden.
