This documentary is concerned with the unfortunate events that lead three young men from Tipton to the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where they would spend the two following years. The story begins when the trio decides to attend a wedding of a mutual friend in Pakistan.
Upon arrival, the three friends decide to take a trip to Afghanistan. In a series of unfortunate events they will be captured and eventually transferred in the hands of the US military forces. Along with other prisoners they will be transported to the base in Guantanamo Bay.
Watch this amazing documentary and discover the ordeal of these young men as they battle to prove that they have no connections with any terrorist cells. The road to their liberation was long ad full of hardships, but eventually they will prove their innocence and return to their homes.
This documentary is directed by Michael Winterbottom and Mat Whitecross. It was released on February 14th, 2006 at the Berlinale. The television premiere was on March 9th, 2006 on the Channel 4 in the UK.
