‘Burzynski’ is a documentary film centred on medical doctor and Ph.D biochemist named Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski, who became the first person to win a very difficult legal battle against United States government over obtaining an approval for clinical trials of Antineoplastons, gene-targeted cancer medicines, discovered by him in the 1970s.
Antineoplastons claim to cure childhood brainstem glioma, a type of cancer which has been been cured before and various other types of terminal cancers.
The film also includes various cancer survivors that chose his treatment instead of surgery, chemotherapy or radiation – with full disclosure of original medical records to support their diagnosis and recovery.
This documentary takes the viewers through this difficult, yet victorious, 14-year journey both Dr. Burzynski and his patients have had to endure in order to obtain FDA-approved clinical trials of Antineoplastons.
However, a shady picture of the US government is revealed years after Burzynski won his freedom which cast a dark shadow on the true motivations of the government to battle him.
Antineoplastons have currently completed Phase II FDA-supervised clinical trials in 2009 and could begin the final phase of testing in 2011-barring the ability to raise the $25 million to fund the first one.
When Antineoplastons are approved, Burzynski will become the first scientist, to hold the exclusive patent and distribution rights on a paradigm-shifting, life-saving medical breakthrough.
