In the past few years, one of the key aspects of evolution is put on recycling, using sustainable materials, and re-using things.
A pub in Japan has taken all of this to a whole new level. The city of Kamikatsu is located in the Tokushima prefecture in Japan, and is known for its commitment to zero waste living.
And that is how the Kamikatz Public house was born. It is one of the several community oriented buildings in the town, built by architecture firm Hiroshi Hakamura. The brewery is also a pub that sells general supplies and food to local residents and some tourists.
The main reason why the pub is known is because it is made of 100% recycled materials including the façade, which is made from reclaimed double-pane windows. The company made an effort to reclaim pieces of the town itself to create the exterior and interior of the building. They used newspapers to line up the walls, and tiles from other buildings to create even more beautiful interior.
